Rendezvous Lunch

Had lunch today at Hotel Rendezvous. It was a sending off lunch for my brother Joe who's gonna be enlisting soon.

There's the recruit-to-be.

Though I think I look more recruit-ish with my ridiculously short hair.

Anyway, the lunch spread was good.

There was laksa.

Yellow beef curry.

Which was nice cos the beef wasn't tough.

East meets West.

Mushroom soup and salmon sashimi. The sashimi was good. Though I don't usually eat a lot of raw fish, today was an exception.

There were quite a large spread - black pepper beef, herbal chicken, hams, sushi, salads etc... But being the pig that I am, I was more occupied with eating than shooting pictures.

I did take quite a few dessert photos though.

And ice-cream.

Best part was, they had fruit fondue!!

And the really Fun Fondue Fountain. Now say that fast!

I was so full after lunch, I skipped dinner. So that was my only meal of the day. But it sure was a good one!
