Lab View

Wow! It's been a week since I last posted something. Been really busy in between. So I shall make up with a long post to round up the last week.

Let's start with dinner at my auntie's house on Saturday evening.

We had popiah.

DIY style.

The chilli was ground old school. With a mortar and pestle!!

Here's my creation! Lots of ingredients!

Oh yeah!! Yummee! (Macro shot by my uncle.)

Sunday morning was spent at Sentosa taking part in Surf and Sweat. I took part in the Men's Instituitional event as well as the Ultimate frisbee side event.

The surf part involved paddling on a surfboard. I looked like a turtle. Pretty hilarious!!

The sweat part was a run. Hucks accompanied me for the run. Thanks bro!! U can read his account of the event here.

On Sunday evening, the EA lvl 2 gang met up for a reunion dinner in Hougang. Here's more food pictures.

There was Yu Sheng to start off. It was "explosive" lau-ing (tossing).

We made a huge mess of the table.

Some fish slices even landed on my hand. You can see it from the video!!

Here's the some pictures of the rest of the food.

Appetizers.

Roast Chicken.

Cereal prawns with erm... chicken head?

There's supposed to be abalone in this... I wonder...

Black pepper beef.

Dessert.

Pretty average fare I would say. But I was extremely hungry, having not had much for lunch and spending the whole day surfing, running and playing frisbee. So anything would taste good.

After dinner we chilled out at Bliss.

Everyone. I think I'm red from a combination of Sentosa sun and Long Island Tea.

YES!! We (Ivan and I) finally tasted Long Island Tea!! Now that we know what it should taste like, hopefully our next "tea making" session would be better than the last.

Full dinner pictures can be found here.

I also spent more time in school this week than any other week this semester. Most of it was in the lab. Check out some pics from there.

Our supervisor just allocated a brand new computer to E Hunt and I.

Pentium 4 HT leh!!

The lab also has a fridge. Time to get some drinks... :p

Best part is the sink. Check out the toothbrushes... Oh well, at least I don't have to go hunting for a water source anymore.

There's my laptop sandwiched between the printer and another desktop.

Phew! That was a long post. Thanks for reading!! Its almost over...

Hopefully I would be able to post again soon. For now, its back to FYP, NOC, SDM, BLAH , BLAH, BLAH...

hahaha still got time to lau!!

15 days not over yet...

as to where it came from, i have absolutely no idea.

but my guess is some restaurant owner wanted to make big bucks during CNY, so decided to sell a plate of mix veggie to suckers at exorbitant prices...

anyone care to correct me?
