The Botak Chef

You've all heard of Jamie Oliver the Naked Chef. Introducing the Vorlacks the Botak Chef!!



Whipped up some spaghetti bolognaise for dinner on Sat evening. Got my family as guinea pigs for the experiment. I guess it doesn't look half bad after getting it all posed for the shot.


Although it wasn't totally created from scratch, it still required a bit of effort (don't forget I'm really lazy). Used the prepared sauce that comes in a bottle together with some chicken mince. Threw in some canned button mushrooms too, cos u gotta have some veggie in your diet (yeah mushrooms are veggie to me).

After seeing the amount of sauce, I decided that I should add a packet of sausages too. Just to add more meat to the concoction.

Verdict - No one had to run for the toilet. So I guess that's good enough for starters. Maybe I'll try to cook it from scratch sometime. Meanwhile, Dolmio Tuscan Herbs sauce works just fine.

Wind on my head

Woot! I've finally gotten around to doing it. Its an idea I've been toying around with for months and months.

I've always managed to find an excuse not to do it. But after much hesitation and procasination, I've finally shaved my head! And here's the result.




Not much to look at really. But then again, its not about looks. Its about doing something that I've been contemplating for a very long time. I guess this signals the start of the "dun care, just do" attitude.

Whether this attitude is a good thing or not, I guess only time will tell. Meanwhile, I'll just savour the feeling of the wind on my head.
